Save NECAA’s Athletic Future: Why Your Support Matters Now

This year the inter counties at York is on SATURDAY MAY 27 for U-15 and U-17 male and female athletes

NECAA has been providing buses for athletes to attend athletic events in the UK for many years, but in recent years, athletes have not been using this service, causing significant financial losses for the association. The NECAA is hoping to encourage more athletes to use the bus by offering free travel to selected athletes, subsidised travel for coaches and parents, and promoting team spirit. Without more support for the bus service, NECAA may have to stop providing transport, which could impact athletes’ development and chances of gaining higher honours. The inter counties at York is on Saturday, May 27, and selection for the teams will be based on the results from NE Championships, leagues and open meetings, and Power of 10 performances. The cost of the bus to NECAA is approximately £700, and athletes will be provided with a NECAA vest at the event, which must be returned after the event.
