* All Masters age groups will compete together in Long Jump, Shot, High Jump, Triple Jump, Pole Vault
Under 13 Competition is confined to athletes aged 11 and 12 at midnight on 31/08/2026– maximum 3 events per day
Under 15 Competition is confined to athletes aged 13 and 14 at midnight on 31/08/2026– maximum 3 events per day
Under 17 Competition is confined to athletes aged 15 and 16 at midnight on 31/08/2026– maximum 3 events per day
Under 20 Competition is confined to athletes aged 17 or over at midnight on 31/08/2026 and under 20 at midnight on 31/12/2026
Senior Competition is for athletes aged at least 20 years of age on 31/12/2026
Masters competition is for athletes aged 35 or older on day of competition
*Starting heights for Pole Vault, High Jump and Triple Jump are advertised on the NECAA website (www.necaa.co.uk)
Conditions of Entry – NECAA, NEMAA, and Cumbria Championships Only (please read carefully)
This event is confined to athletes who were born or have continuously resided, for at least nine months prior to the competition, within the counties of Northumberland, Durham, Cleveland, Tyne & Wear, Teesside or Cumbria. Athletes may compete in the Championships of only one County Association in any one calendar year. The NECAA are operating under UKA Rule 21 S6 as one County and clubs must abide by those rules regarding qualifications and any other matters
N.B this does not qualify students who have resided during term time alone.
Persons not satisfying this criterion may still enter the open competition.
Please note: the open competition includes both North Eastern Counties athletes and those from outside the area.
Closing date for entries is Saturday 10th January 2026
We can only accept online entries, as this is a Championship event there will be no entries accepted after the closing date
We are using England Athletics entry system Roster Athletics, search North Eastern or NECAA for all NECAA events. Details how to use Roster can be found HERE
Can Ambulant Athletes please ensure their Roster account has been updated with their classification when they enter

Entry Fees: £9.00 per event
Note: NECAA reserve the right to cancel any event for which insufficient entries are received or lack of Officials to ensure the safety of the event
