DESCRIPTION:Each match will follow the same pattern (except NEGP 5\, see notes below)\, opening 2 weeks prior to each match\, at 7pm on the relevant Wednesday\, and closing a week before the match\, again at 7pm on the Wednesday. The season’s dates are shown below:- \nNEGP 1 – April 30th. Entries open @ 19:00 on Wed 16th April and close @ 19:00 on Wed 23rd April \nNEGP 2 – May 28th. Entries open @ 19:00 on Wed 14th May and close @ 19:00 on Wed 21st May \nNEGP 3 – June 18th. Entries open @ 19:00 on Wed 4th June and close @ 19:00 on Wed 11th June \nNEGP 4 – July 9th. Entries open @ 19:00 on Wed 25th June and close @ 19:00 on Wed 2nd July \nNEGP 5 – July 23rd. Entries open @ 22:00 on Wed 9th July and close @ 19:00 on Wed 16th July* \nNEGP 6 – August 13th. DESCRIPTION:NECAA are pleased to announce the return of their annual Track Relay Competition\, to be held at Monkton Stadium on Wednesday September 3rd 2025 \nPlease note age groupings are based on 2025 summer season. Please ensure athletes are in the correct age groups! \nU13 – Under 13 on 31st August 2025\nU15 – Under 15 on 31st August 2025\nU17 – Under 17 on 31st August 2025\nSENIOR/VET – Aged 17 and above on 31st August 2025 \nThe events will be as follows:-\nUnder 11’s 4 X 100M (Mixed teams allowed)\nUnder 13’s 4 X 100M (2 Races)\nU15’s 4 X 100M\, 4 X 200M (Mixed Relay 2 Men\, 2 Women)\nU17’s 4 X 100M\, 4 X 200M (Mixed Relay 2 Men\, 2 Women)\nSeniors 4 X 100M\, 4 X 200M (Mixed Relay 2 Men\, 2 Women)\, 4 X 400M \nEntries will be open to Athletes who are registered with EA for the current competition year.\nWe can only accept online entries and these will be on a first come first served basis. Championships 2025. Eligibility for the NECAA\nevent is confined to athletes born\, or having bone-fide residence for nine months prior to the date of the competition in the counties of\nNorthumberland\, Durham\, Tyne & Wear or Cleveland. Competitors may compete in the Championships of only one County Association in any one calendar year. Residential qualification for persons serving in H.M. Forces is nine months. Uni. residence during term time only does not qualify. All NECAA athletes are eligible for the open pentathlon event as well as the NECAA Championships. \nUnder 13 Boys / Girls qualification Under 13 Championships are confined to athletes who are aged 11 and 12 at midnight on 31st August 2025 \nUnder 15 Boys / Girls qualification Under 15 Championships are confined to athletes who are aged 13 and 14 at midnight on 31st August 2025 \nUnder 17 Men / Women qualification Under 17 Championships are confined to athletes who are aged 15 and 16 at midnight on 31st August 2025 \nUnder 20 Men / Women qualification Under 20 Championships are confined to athletes who are aged 17 or over at midnight on 31st August 2025 but under 20 at midnight on 31st December 2025. \nSenior Men / Women qualification The Senior Championships are for athletes who are at least 20 years of age on 31st December 2025 \nAthletes must wear the vest of their first-claim affiliated club\, or their County\, Territorial or National vest\, uka rule 17(3) \nEquipment : Throwing event competitors may use any implements provided for general use. The NECAA are operating under UKA Rule 21 S6 as one County and clubs must abide by those rules regarding qualifications and any other matters \nEntries are welcome from non NECAA competitors\, however\, in those events for which heats and finals are held\, such competitors may not displace NECAA athletes from any subsequent heat or final. \n  \n                                N.B this does not qualify students who have resided during term time alone. \n  \n  \n  \nWe can only accept online entries\, as this is a Championship event there will be no entries accepted after the closing date  \n  \n  \nWe are using England Athletics entry system Roster Athletics\, search North Eastern for all NECAA events.
